Facebook allow you only when your are registered with a facebook account to communicate with other facebook accounts.

I think that facebook will be one of the biggest social network site of the world. If you look at the number of the growth of facebook, they are enormous. Facebook started in December 2004 with 1 million active users. In December 2005 facebook growth was almost 6 times bigger. The numbers started to increase huge and now the last count was recent September 2009 facebook have 300 million active users. Facebook daily growths with 600.000 new applicants every single day. Looking at these numbers I am almost sure that facebook is going certainly one of the most biggest social network site throughout the world.

Facebook was in the beginning the most popular by students and employers, but nowadays nothing less is true. International celebrities are active on facebook, like twitter. Celebrities will participate these social networks for their communication and bonding with their fans. It is a perfect way for the celebrities to keep in touch with their, either through twitter or facebook or maybe both.

For myself I don’t have a facebook account yet, just simply because I am Dutch, I have hyves off course. That doesn’t mean that I don’t like facebook,  but it is for me a matter of course.

Weblog is for the people who wants to share their stories or information with others. Therefore can you only leave a comment on someone’s weblog. It is not really ‘chatting’ to one another, but you can read how people think about your weblog. I like that part too because you still have difference between blogging and chatting.  

I don’t have a weblog personally, not because I don’t like it, but I don’t have the time of keeping my weblog up to date. I think it is nice that you can read other people’s stories and experiences. We even can learn some things about experiences or about certain stories you have read.

Following people’s interests, stories and experiences is mostly for fun, but it can also be to inform people. I think that blogging is the great way to do that. Blogging is growing each day, and I think that in a short time the whole world might be blogging. If you’re not having a blog, you certainly read or follow one blog.

Even international celebrities twitter a lot these days. Like I said I think that twitter is a good way to communicate, and that is one of the reasons celebrities use twitter to keep communicating with their fans. According from this information we can see that twitter can be also used for free publicity.

Twitter is for free and it is easy in use, which people appreciate. Twitter is there for people who wants to stay in touch with each other on a quick way. That is why twitter provides to send (short) messages, so the people can keep up what others are doing and that can be handy or just for fun.

It is nice that people can create on twitter their own profile and even avatar, so the people will have the feeling that they are virtually there chatting with each other.  

Twitter is also good for putting yourself out there and meet ‘new’ people, networking and so on. Twitter is not only for fun, but is very handy if people want to go up in their career. There a lot employers who are looking for the right persons. We can call this personal branding, which means that people can make their selves know to the world if they want to. There are a lot of possibilities if people want to network or for social ends.

My mother comes from Surinam and my father is Dutch, I can tell that is nice to grow up with two cultures. I live with a big family and it is always crowded, I wouldn’t change for anything. I live in a small-town village called Zeist which is nearby Utrecht.

After I graduated from high school I started a MBO study about Marketing & Communication. During the MBO study I was already thinking what I want to study next, but what I knew for certain was, that I want to do an English study. I found it quite difficult to chose the right study a study that I like and that will fit me. There are a lot studies and I found one in Amsterdam , but unfortunately I didn’t make it and my plan B was the study ICM (international communication & media).  I have always said that I really want to get my HBO diploma and then I will be happy, that is my main goal right now.

My hobbies are shopping, dancing, going out and hang out with my friends.  I have danced since I was eight years old and I started with jazz ballet. After I was getting older, I tried different types of dancing, but I always returned to street dance. Actually I dance twice a week for two hours. The first hour I do street dance and the second hour I am doing hip-hop lyrical.

I am  a spontaneous girl, who like the have fun with family and friends. therefore is my life motto: A not laughed is a day not lived…
